Rest assured your donations so far have made a BIG difference in the rescue, treatment and re-location of domestic and wild animals affected by the recent bush fires.

Below is just a brief description on where the donations have been distributed. Please understand that every effort is being made by volunteers and VETS around the clock to help the injured animals. It's a massive job and collating the information to put on our web site is our next priority after the rescue and treatment of the animals themselves.

Blanket, Bedding & Towels, Pellet loads of pet food, Hay, Straw, Pet carriers, Portable pens, Collapsible Cages, Medical supplies have been distributed/delivered to animal carers all around bush fire affected regions as well as the many carers that exist in Melbourne Metro areas and the animal shelters.

This weekend many volunteers came down to Nigel's Animal Rescue to help disctribute much needed supplies to Kinglake, Churchill, Flowerdale, Bunyip and other fire affected areas.

Cash donations are paying for the medical supplies such as Vet bills, injections, bandages and all medicines required to treat the vast array of injuries,

Fire victim families have been given kennels, water bowls, feed, medication anything to assist them to care for their loved pets and/or offered temporarily relocation of their pets into loving families to relieve the stress. So every little bit donated is helping to ensure we can help the fire victims families and their pets, save as many wild animals as possible and to help treat and care for them over the coming months/year until they are healthy enough to be handed back to loved families / released back into the wild.
